From the North
From the A1 leave at the junction for Tynemouth, A19, Tyne Tunnel and
join the A19. Follow signs for the Tyne Tunnel. Continue on through
Tyne Tunnel. From A19 join the A185 Jarrow Road. Join the A194 Jarrow
Road and continue following signs for South Shields town centre. At
the traffic lights turn left into Beach Road (A183) Follow road to roundabout
and take the 1st left into Anderson Road (A183). Straight over at the
mini roundabout. At the next roundabout (Asda) turn right into Ocean
Road. The Atlantis is the first guest house on your left.
From the South
From the A1 leave at Junction 65 and join the A194(M) signposted Tyne
Tunnel, S Shields. After 3.7 miles take the 2nd exit off the roundabout
onto A194 Leam Lane. Continue on the A194 following signs for South
Shields town centre. At the traffic lights turn left into Beach Road
(A183) Follow road to roundabout and take the 1st left into Anderson
Road (A183). Straight over at the mini roundabout. At the next roundabout
(Asda) turn right into Ocean Road. The Atlantis is the first guest house
on your left.
